At Wemo, the warehouse is a vital part of the workflow – receiving components, packing orders, and shipping products to customers worldwide. But what is it really like to work in the warehouse? We spoke with Emil, one of our dedicated warehouse team members, to learn more about his daily routine, why he enjoys his job so much, and what makes Wemo a fantastic workplace.

"The best job I've ever had"

Emil is 37 years old, lives with his partner and two children, and has been working at Wemo for five years. For him, there’s no doubt that he’s found the right place:

"I love going to work every day. This is the best workplace I’ve ever had! We have freedom with responsibility, and no two days are the same."

His role in the warehouse involves handling incoming goods, packing projects, and shipping customer orders. A typical day can include everything from preparing small spare parts to packing large automation projects – and it’s this variety that makes the job so enjoyable:

"The best thing about working in the warehouse is that the work is so diverse. One moment we're packing a large order, the next we're assisting production with materials. There's always something happening!"

Team spirit and job satisfaction

One of the things Emil values most is the team spirit at Wemo. The company fosters an open and supportive workplace, where everyone helps each other and works together:

"I really appreciate my workplace and my fantastic colleagues. It’s a great team that makes the job fun every day."

For Emil, there’s also a strong sense of pride in being part of the logistics process that ensures customers receive their orders on time:

"I feel extra proud when we successfully ship both small and large projects. We are a crucial part of the chain!"

Structure, coffee, and a positive start of the day

Keeping the warehouse running efficiently requires organization and attention to detail:

"I like structure. Simplicity is what works best!"

And what would a workday be without coffee? For Emil, there’s no doubt:

"Coffee is the drink of life, and I go through quite a bit of it!"

But most importantly, he believes in starting the day with the right mindset:

"I always wake up with a smile on my face. It’s a great feeling to head to work!"

Want to work at Wemo?

Emil has some great advice for anyone considering a job at Wemo:

"Be social, caring, and curious about your work – and always keep a smile on your face!"

When asked to describe his job in three words, he chooses:

  • Passion
  • Security
  • Pride
