To answer questions about our training programs, we sat down with Fredrik Tullberg, Technical Trainer at Wemo.
What types of training does Wemo offer?
Wemo offers technical training for operators, setup personnel, technicians, programmers, and other similar roles with our clients and partners.
Do you need to be very technically skilled to join a Wemo training program?
One advantage of Wemo’s software is its ease of use, regardless of prior experience with robots or programming. Our own software, WIPS 4.0, for example, is an intuitive and user-friendly platform that makes it easy for beginners to go from no programming experience to creating complete robot programs. Even if you’ve programmed before, there’s always something new to learn.

On-Site Training or Training at Wemo?
Our goal with training is to ensure participants gain maximum benefit from their equipment and can program our robots independently. Operator training is often held at the customer’s site, where our technicians provide direct support and training. Thanks to our user-friendly software, participants quickly get started with practical exercises and programming tasks.
Holding training sessions at Wemo offers numerous benefits. We have all the necessary equipment, including training robots, creating a safe environment where participants can experiment and make mistakes without risking production. If the group has varying experience levels, we can separate participants by skill level to ensure everyone gets the most out of the training.
