Wemo steps up at Fakuma 2026

Yushin HST 150 together with Wemo

One of the robots on display is the Yushin HST 150, developed for applications where short cycle times and high precision are essential. At Fakuma, the robot is combined with a Wemo box changer.

You can also discover W-OP 5, Wemo’s new external operator panel for automation cells and peripheral equipment. The new generation offers improved touch performance and responsiveness, together with a larger, faster and clearer display that simplifies day-to-day operation.

Smart automation for medical device production

In a separate cell, we demonstrate how several automation components can work together in a compact solution for medical device production.

Here, the Wemo 16-7 xDesign is combined with SmartDrive systems, with a smaller robot transferring components between two SmartDrive units. The solution demonstrates how flexible and efficient material flows can be created even where production space is limited. For cleanroom production, Wemo also offers customised automation solutions with cleanroom options such as white conveyor belts, drip protection and other solutions for environments with stringent cleanliness requirements.

Higher performance in the next generation

At Fakuma, Wemo will also present several updates across its robot range. The control system and mechanics have been further developed for faster and more stable positioning, while the robots also offer improved payload capacity.

The innovations include active vibration damping and up to 20 per cent faster part-removal times. New model designations based on robot payload will also make it easier to select the right robot for each application.

Programming is evolving too. The updated software provides better capabilities for building and programming more complex automation solutions, while introducing new safety features for areas including access and user management.
